“ A great place to enjoy the local flavors at really reasonable prices. The mole enchiladas were the best I had anywhere in Puerto. ”
“ **Holy Mole!!!** By Far, the best Oaxacan traditional food in Puerto esc. We asked every local for the best Mole in town, and they sure know best! Every time they talk about this place, it gives them "tingles" and excitement. It definitely satisfied our craving for authentic food in the most traditional way. It's very affordable, and servings are just enough to fill your hungry stomach. There is something special about their tortillas that you won't find anywhere else. I also wanted to mention the live music, amazing service, and the ladies working by the hot stones, who crafts the magic tortillas. I will come back in a heartbeat. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Sending love from Canada ”
“ Was recommended this for good local food, and I couldn't have been happier! It has a great atmosphere, lots of people, friendly service, and amazing food! I had the tlayuda with tasajo and it was so good! Great location too with lots of shops around. ”
“ There are two locations of Las Juquilenas around the Mercado and this one is renovated. The food is authentic, generous portions and delicious. I shared Coconut Shrimps with my mom and they were lovely, with garlic rice aside and a colorful salad. Everything from Empanadas, Tlayudas, Huaraches are excellent, at affordable price. Highly recommended. ”
“ Fantastic Mexican food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, good vegetarian options too! Even the coffee was delicious! I wish I had this food where I live ”
“ Outstanding food and service. We were just wandering the streets and looking for lunch when we stumbled upon this gem. It's a garage type setting with ample seating, which is good, because it gets busy here. As the prices are so affordable (about 30 pesos for a scope, for example) we tried one of almost everything. The mole is extremely good. We were treated kindly in spite of being the only two gringos. Easy to see why this place won a foodie award last year. ”
“ This place has a great variety of local dishes. All their dishes are made with love, and they are rich in flavor. It is very tasty and delicious. Their staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Great portions and extremely clean. If you're visiting town, you MUST stop here. ”
“ Delicious and authentic food. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was welcoming. We sat on the top terrace of the restaurant, which had lot of fans to beat the heat. We enjoyed delicious sopes at an unbeatable price. I highly recommend trying the flan! ”
